I think that attempting to infer that Montgomery got few carries because he and Tedford did not mesh on a personal level is quite a stretch. Saying that Montgomery didn't get more carries because Tedford preferred Best is more likely. Afterall, there is evidence to support that theory: Best brings more to the table than Montgomery (speed, elusiveness, big play ability). Marshawn told Montgomery that he was going pro early, then Montgomery told Rivals, then everybody knew then and there that Money was gone. Best of luck to Montgomery.
