I would only add that, at this point, UCLA would be a lateral move (at best) just as the Michigan blogger suggests. Indeed, given how cozy Tedford is, by all appearances, with Cal alumni, faculty, and administrators, it's hard to imagine ANY job in college football that he'd find more attractive. Let's also not forget that, last I saw, Tedford is the second highest paid coach in the Pac-10 (behind only Pete Carroll)--and the highest paid employee, period, of the entire UC system! Nothing speaks more to what Tedford has accomplished at Cal than to note that he's turned this into one of the most desirable jobs in college football--especially once ground is broken on the new training facility (which, of course, remains the big wild card in all of this.)
