Interesting note: On the AP Poll, USC is no longer the highest ranked USC out there. South Carolina is ranked at #7 while USC is #10. My brother in law is just starting this year at South Carolina, so I’m a newly minted Cocks fan. Wouldn’t it be crazy if Cal somehow faced South Carolina in a bowlgame this year? We could conceivably beat USC twice!
USC loses, I’m pretty sure another angel gets its wings (I don’t mean the Vlad kind). So, congratulations to Ricky The Angel. Use those bad boys well.
A lot of people all across the Bearosphere are gnashing their teeth about how USC’s loss relates to Cal making the Rose Bowl or the NC Game. I think people are missing the forest for the trees here (or is it the Forsett for the trees?). There’s a lot more football to be played this season. Plus, if there is any season where things can change drastically and rapidly, it seems like it would be this one.
But NONE of that changes the fact that USC lost. I repeat: USC lost. Oh and it was at home. USC lost at home. I think 2 angels should get their wings for that one. Here’s hoping that on November 10th, THIS angel gets his wings:
I guess the main bullet point of my post is that USC LOST! The overarching theme here is that, what?, USC LOST!!!!!! What more could we ask for? Except for OSU not jumping Cal. That too. GO BEARS!
