Berkeleyans for Cal Athletics
The following is a message from my good friend Alec Stewart, to all those who care about Cal Athletics:
Hey Everyone,
IF YOU WANT THERE TO BE A NEW TRAINING FACILITY AT MEMORIAL STADIUM, PLEASE READ AND VOTE!
I am helping a newly formed organization called Berkeleyans for Cal Athletics get the word out about things you can do to help the University get a ‘green light’ to move forward with construction of the new Student Athlete High Performance Center at Memorial Stadium. Please take a bit of time out of your day to read the action items listed below and help us out!
Also, be sure to:

About Berkeleyans for Cal Athletics:
We’re a group of concerned Berkeley residents who are upset with the City of Berkeley’s stubborn opposition to the safety upgrades at Memorial Stadium. The group is dedicated to exerting pressure on the Berkeley City Council to DROP its lawsuit against the UC, while simultaneously generating community support for and disseminating accurate information about the University’s plans to build the Student-Athlete High Performance Center. We believe that the challenges that face the Stadium project are surmountable and that there are various ways to get the word out and make the voice of the greater Cal community heard.
