I think you need to educate yourself on how teams schedule before you knock peoples out of conference schedules...first off schedules are mad 8 years or more in advance...when OSU scheduled Washington they were actually contending for and one of the top 2 teams in the Pac 10. No at that time had any idea the Huskies would go through the tough times they did...Ohio State has never been afraid of scheduling tough opponents...proof be told...home and home with Texas last year and the year before, home and home with USC the next two years,Home and Home with VaTech, Home and Home with Oklahoma coming up, Home and Home with Miami coming up Home and Home with Georgia curretnly being negotiated...as for the MAC schools, the Big Ten ahs an agreement with all MAC Schools to schedule two games year with the local in state schools to support local kids and their programs...as for Youngstown State its Tressel giving back to where he had so many antional champioships and his roots are...dont talk about the pack 10 not scheduling cupcakes...Cal schedules one tough OOC school every year like Tennessee then a few cupcakes as do all top programs...I do know the the louded SEC scheules NCAA 1AA schools routinely with multi-directional names as SW this and NE that and they dont get abused for it...the big point is Ohio State and Michigan have never shyed away from scheduling tough non-conference games...the one thing that is not controllable is when you schedule a top program today eight years down the road, you never know what their program may be like in eight years...that is unctrollable...I agree many schools avoid these tough OOC games, but you picked on nthe wrong school to calim they dont schedule tough OOC games every year.
